Heat treated high carbon steel meets preferred D.O.T. standards for over-the-road transport of heavy duty cargo and construction equipment. Provides higher working load than equivalent G43 size. Gold chromate finish. Proof tested to 2 times working load limit. Chain links embossed every 12 in. with mfres mark per NACM & FMCSA standards. To be used in conjunction with lever and ratcheting style chain binders. WARNING: Do not use for overhead lifting. Per NACM standards, overhead lifting requires Alloy Chain of Grade 80 or higher.
