For providing accent and task lighting in non-insulated ceiling or where insulation can be kept 3" from housing. Thermal protector deactivates fixture if overheating occurs due to improper lamping or misapplied insulation. Junction box has four 1/2" trade size conduit knockouts with true pry-out slots. UL/cUL Listed Damp Location, Wet Location, feed through covered ceiling with select trims and 1598 Luminaire. Certified under ASTM-E283 for air tight construction.
